The CIO Club of CSI Mumbai recently organised a seminar focusing on the significance of Identity Man agement (IM) in
data security and compliance issues. The
event was co-sponsored by Ilantus
Technologies, BMC Software and
Microsoft. |

| Identity Management encompasses
technologies including password
management, user provisioning and
access management. This includes the
creation of the user entity (functionality
typically found in human resource
applications), authorisation and
permissions, and a single point of
administration for de/provisioning
accounts. |

| The seminar included insightful
presentations by Ilantus CEO Binod Singh,
Robert Worner of BMC Software, and
Karthik Padmanabhan from Microsoft, as
well as a panel discussion. |
