: |
| Dear fellow member of CSI Mumbai
Chapter, |
| A new Managing Committee, a new
editor for CSI Newstrac and a new
webmaster for the CSI Mumbai website these are the recent developments at the
Mumbai Chapter of the Computer Society of India. And as
the old order changeth, yielding place to new, we have
also introduced a new topic for our tutorial sessions middleware integration which seems to
have been very well-received by the members. |

| Val Souza, with his extensive editorial experience,
will surely make this newsletter a more regular and
engaging medium to reach out to you with many inputs.
But it is only you who can make the real difference. Please
contribute articles and other inputs useful to the
professional community, and do put forward any
suggestions you might have, to make our Chapter more
vibrant. |
| |
| Vinay Thaly is working to make our website a multifunctional
unit. While Vinay would be sharing with you all
his plans through the website, I again urge you to visit the
site more often, contribute and enjoy the fruits of sharing
knowledge. |
| |
| Effective communications are always two-way. I
would be happy to provide any assistance and act as a
bridge between you and the Chapter processes. Please do
not hesitate to write to me at msvrao@gmail.com. |

| The deluge on that Terrible Tuesday in July made
Mumbai look like a drowned dwarf. The Managingbr>
Committee of CSI Mumbai Chapter expresses its deep felt anguish for all those who were adversely affected due
to that calamity. We sincerely hope all of you and your
near ones are safe. |
